"Surely
occupying one of the best situations in London, The Parkwood
is a gracious small hotel. Though only five minutes' walk
from busy, noisy Marble Arch it is a world away in this
quiet street which opens onto all the splendour of Hyde
Park………Many
of the bedrooms have recently been re-decorated with pretty
papers and prints and all have satellite television, radio-alarms
and tea/coffee makers. Rooms are non-smoking. ……..
Once again a very, and deservedly, popular small hotel, so we urge prospective
visitors to book early, if possible."

“This lovely little hotel is just minutes
away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and just
seconds away from Tony and Cherie Blair's new pad in Connaught
Square. Whether or not that's a good thing is up to you
to decide, but at least you can take pleasure knowing that
you're paying peanuts for staying in a millionaire's postcode.
You certainly get value for money at the Parkwood. There
aren't many places in London that offer such generous-sized
rooms for such generous prices. The recently refurbished
rooms are pretty in pink with candy-striped wallpaper, potted
plants and Laura Ashley prints.………”
